PLASTIC RAKED SCREEN

Use Areas

In plastic raked screen, which are used in domestic as well as industrial treatment plants for holding the solid particles from 2 mm up to 15 mm, the obstruction risk of the system is minimized with the rakes advancing on a conveyor band and conveying solid particles.

Torque limiting motor that switches on in case of any obstruction in the system protects the movable parts from damages caused by excessive loads.

It can be used in canals with various canal widths and depths from 0,4 m up to 8 m.

SPECIFICATIONS

c raked screen designed for holding the solid particles in the wastewater from 2 mm up to 15 mm is made of stainless steel and ABS rakes and consists of the parts given below.
       CHASSIS
A steel part with the required resistance that bear the entire system. ır.

       CONVEYOR BAND
It is an infinite band formed by the rakes parallel to each other and jointed to each other perpendicularly. A special chain that conveys the movement of the driving mechanism is provided on the band. Rakes are made of ABS material.

        3rd DRIVING GROUP
It is mounted on the chassis in order to move the conveyor band and cleaning brush. Movement is conveyed from redactor to the band through chain gear and chain mechanism. If any constraint occurs between chain gears, there is a torque switch provided to stop the screen.
        BRUSH
There are two brushes in plastic raked screen, one of these brushes is located at the bottom of the screen and the other brush is located on the complete rotation point of the band. The brush on the rotation point carries out the final cleaning of the band that cleans itself. The brush located at the bottom closes the cavities of the canal and obstructs the solid particles from passing through the uncombed region.
